Born for the stage, Jason brings energy, enthusiasm and a stage presence that encapsulates audiences from the moment the lights go up. His powerful vocal is backed up by his driving rhythms, drawing Inspiration from folk legends like Finbar Furey, The Wolfe Tones and Luke Kelly, it is no wonder his knowledge of folk music is vast.
Stephen McCaffrey
Banjo/Mandolin
Whether it's delving into traditional jigs and reels or adding a touch of magic to contemporary folk songs, Stephen has the gift of complimenting songs with the folk sound. Equally gifted on banjo and mandolin, his self taught playing style is instantly recognisable. He is a dab hand at card games too, and renowned for his game of 25 playing skill.
Niall Carolan
Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals
The quiet man of the band, Niall's bass playing is the musical glue that holds our folk sound together. His wealth of experience playing bass across multiple genres adds hugely to the bands unique sound. His timing with one liners is equally as impressive as his guitar playing.
Kevin Meehan
Lead Vocal/Acoustic Guitar
If it's guitar driving, foot stomping rhythms, you're after; Kevin brings it. With the influence of folk giants like Christy Moore, Mumford & Sons and Bruce Springsteen, his passion for performing is endless. His vocal blends are a key element of the bands success. Sport and music dominate most conversations.
Pat Tierney
Flute/Tin Whistles
Traditional folk music is not complete without whistling accompaniment. With years of experience, Pat learned his craft through playing at Fleadh Ceoil the length and breadth of the country. His playing style adds a sprinkle of magic to the bands sound. When he's not playing music, he's farming, fishing or fixing tractors!
