The Highstool Prophets formed in 2012 at Fleadh Ceoil na hEireann. Blending a distinctive sound with a fresh, modern take on the folk and traditional music audiences love, the band have built a formidable reputation through sold-out shows, national television appearances, and a catalogue of songs that has amassed millions of streams! Most notably, our cover of Scottish singer Amy Mac Donald’s hit “This Is The Life” has surpassed 40 million streams across online platforms, with the artist herself praising it as “the best cover of the song, by a country mile.”

 

Following a string of sold-out shows, television and radio appearances, and a steady run of new releases, audiences can expect shows packed with their favourite folk song and original Highstool Prophets material.
